Who checks what

The register has one subject and four beats. Every entry carries the name of whoever checked it, because on a site about who published what, an unsigned claim would be a strange thing to publish.

Four unmarked card tags set out in one line on a bare tabletop, evenly spaced and turned toward the lens, a single amber lamp low on the left picking out the fibre of them, four long shadows thrown rightward, the tabletop past them sinking to black

The beats

Sneha Barhate — names and what they resolve to. She keeps the register and writes the entries for the individual names.

Devang Mistry — store listings, packages and files. The two store entries, the publisher line, both shelves.

Rohini Parab — spellings, search strings and drift. The misspellings, the numbers, the sentence people search.

Yusuf Ghatge — money claims and support channels. The VIP question, the coin wording, where a complaint goes.

The standing rule

Nobody here installs the apps they write about. It is not squeamishness — a desk that tells people to be careful with unknown packages and then opens them for material has spent its own advice.

The consequence is a boundary that appears on page after page: what a store listing says can be reported, and what happens after an install cannot. Where that boundary falls, the entry says so instead of filling the gap.
